I am so excited about starting this new blog! I have so much to share with you and I truly hope that you will enjoy reading about my crazy journey of renovating my home!  I had no previous home repair or DIY experience until a couple of years ago, so that should give you an idea of what kind of stories and projects that I'll be posting lol.   We purchased our home about 5 years ago and it needed a lot of work but we did not have a lot of cash to put into it all at once, so it's been a SLOW process.  But I am very inpatient and wanted to see results so I turned to my new BFF, Pinterest, and taught myself how to DIY just about anything on a dime!   I had to think outside of the box, but looking back on some of the things that I have done with so little money I would do it all over again!  I hope that I can help someone else out there who feels as hopeless as I did at the beginning of this journey, and I'm far from finished with my home but I now feel happy with it knowing that I can do anything that I put my mind to (and Google the instructions lol).  Oh and I almost forgot to mention that this home was supposed to be very temporary since we had planned to build a new house, but things happened as they always do and now we think we may just keep our little fixer upper lol.   Stay tuned for all of my fun, crazy and informative stories!
